INPATIENT HOSPITAL GUIDE

Your comfort and care are our highest priorities

We wish you a speedy recovery and an amazing stay at our facility. To help you feel right at home, we’ve put together everything you need to know. Discover details about your care, daily schedule, and available amenities to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible.
Meet Your Care Team

Your health and well-being are our highest priorities. Your care team of doctors and nurses are here to support your recovery. Providing complete and accurate details about your medical history helps us give you the best possible care.

We believe in transparent communication—every procedure and treatment will be fully explained to you. If you ever feel uncertain or have questions about your care plan, please don’t hesitate to ask.

For your safety, please hand over all previously prescribed or home medications to your admitting doctor upon arrival. While admitted, all medication must be administered by our nursing staff; please do not take any personal medicines unless specifically instructed by your healthcare team

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we recommend bringing personal toiletries (such as soap and a toothbrush), nightwear, non-slip footwear, and comfortable clothing that can be easily removed for exams and assessments.

For your peace of mind, please leave non-essential valuables, jewellery, and large sums of cash at home. You are responsible for your personal belongings during your stay, and the hospital cannot be held liable for any lost or misplaced items.

To help you feel at home, your room is fitted with cable TV and equipped with a bedside locker for your belongings.

If you need assistance at any time, an intercom is conveniently located in your ward to reach the nurses’ station directly. Should you experience any difficulty or room malfunctions, please dial 802 on your intercom.

Our nursing team is available around the clock to assist you. Managing your pain effectively is vital to your recovery—if you feel any pain, please alert your nurse immediately so we can consult with your doctor and adjust your care plan promptly.

For your safety: If you feel weak, dizzy, faint, or unsteady, please do not attempt to get out of bed unassisted. Always call for a member of your care team to help you.

We take your privacy very seriously. To keep your personal health details safe, we will only share updates on your progress with the person you designate upon arrival. We will kindly ask any other family members or friends to reach out to you or your designated contact directly for information.

Maintaining a safe, clean environment is essential to your recovery. Your care team sanitizes their hands before and after attending to every patient, and we ask that visitors do the same—sanitizing their hands when entering your room and before leaving the facility.

To protect all patients, please ask friends and family who are feeling unwell to visit only once they have recovered. For health and safety reasons, visitors are not permitted to sit or lie on patient beds.

Visiting with Children: Children under 12 are generally restricted from ward areas, with exceptions made for Post-Delivery and Paediatric Ward. Any visiting child must show no signs of illness, such as a fever, cough, runny nose, or rash.

Before any surgical procedure, an informed consent form must be completed. Your clinical care team will walk you through all the details, risks, and counselling prior to your surgery or procedure, and a family member will be required to sign the consent form alongside you.

Throughout your stay, our laboratory staff may occasionally visit your room to collect diagnostic samples. Your cooperation with them helps us keep your care plan on track.

To ensure a peaceful healing environment and give you ample time to rest, we kindly ask that visits be kept relatively short, with a maximum of 2 visitors at the bedside at any one time.

Visiting Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Weekends: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Overnight Accommodations: One relative is permitted to stay overnight if a patient is seriously ill, and parents are always welcome to stay overnight with their admitted children.

Good nutrition is an essential part of your healing journey. We have partnered with a trusted and reliable nearby food vendor to make food available on request. However, we have a kitchen with basic utensils.

We aim to make your discharge process as seamless as possible. If you are paying cash for any portion of your treatment or care, please discuss with the front desk team for payment instructions. We kindly remind all patients that full settlement of your account is required before you leave the hospital.

When it is time for you to go home, your doctor will provide some discharge instructions along with any necessary medications. Please make sure to carefully check your follow-up schedule and take all medications as directed. If you need any clarification after you leave, feel free to call us or chat with us. You deserve all the support you can get.

To support your ongoing recovery, a member of our Aftercare Team may reach out to you after you leave to ensure you are recovering well.
